Privacy notice

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) collects the information submitted through the Accountants in Business (AIB) portal to maintain the register of accounting and finance professionals employed in the Maldives, as provided for under the AIB Regulations.

What we collect

Employer details, the identity, contact, employment and qualification details of registered employees, and the supporting documents uploaded.

How it is protected

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, access is restricted by role, staff access requires two-step verification, uploaded documents are stored privately and every action is recorded in an audit trail.

Retention

Registration records are retained as historical records, including after deregistration, so that an accurate employment history is maintained.
